The Franz Schubert Filharmonia had long wanted to invite Alexei Volodin, one of the most personal and unique pianists on the international scene. For this first collaboration, Volodin will perform one of the most demanding and virtuous concertos in the repertoire, the Piano Concerto no. 2 of Brahms. In the second part, Tomàs Grau will offer us Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony, the work where the Russian composer described his deepest interior with passion and eternal melodies.
